Diploma In Insolvency
The objective of the Programme is to provide students with an in-depth and integrated study of the different aspects of insolvency administration, with particular emphasis on the practical issues relating to these areas.

Structure and Syllabus
The Diploma in Insolvency comprises of more than 50 contact hours of lectures, workshops and tutorials, covering three major topics, i.e. personal insolvency, liquidation corporate rescue & restructuring and personal bankruptcy.

Recognition
The Diploma receives various recognition from different organizations, details of which are listed below:

1. The Official Receiver's Office
The Official Receiver's Office (ORO) has recognised the Diploma in Insolvency Programme and regarded successful completion of the Diploma, i.e. an overall pass, as being the equivalent of 50 hours of insolvency work in the context of qualification as an Insolvency Practitioner under the Panel A scheme or a Professional Person under the respective tender schemes operated by the ORO.
   
2. The Law Society of Hong Kong
Accreditation to this Programme is being considered by the Law Society of Hong Kong.
   
3. Government's Continuing Education Fund Reimbursement
The programme has been registered as a reimbursable course under the Government's Continuing Education Fund (CEF). Being a registered CEF course, students who have successfully completed the Programme, i.e. a pass of the programme plus a minimum of 75% of attendance, will be entitled to a reimbursement of up to HK$10,000.
   
4. Continuing Professional Development (CPD) Hours for the Institute's Members
All preparatory and contact hours are considered to be verifiable CPD hours for the purpose of CPD compliance.
